Boy Wanted
A boy with good posture, sits tightly, behaves correctly, and speaks frankly. A boy with clean nails, clean ears, polished shoes, brushed clothes, combed hair, and teeth groomed. A boy who listens carefully when spoken to, asks questions as soon as he does not understand, and does not ask questions that are not relevant to him. A boy who acts fast, but tries to make as little noise as possible. A boy who is noisy in town, but when he has to be quiet, he is not noisy. A boy who seems to be happy, smiles quickly at everyone, and never squirms. A boy who can not only treat others politely, but also respects women and girls. A boy who doesn’t smoke and doesn’t want to. A boy who tries to speak correct English rather than slang. A boy who never bullies other boys or forgives anyone who bullies him. A boy who can say “I don’t understand” when people tell him something he doesn’t understand, say “I’m sorry” when he makes a mistake, and immediately says “I’ll try” when he has to act.
